Las Canteras Beach is a long stretch of sand that extends for 3800 metres along the bay. It is a special place, with a marine nature reserve and a seabed full of life, which makes the beach an excellent destination for snorkelling, surfing and swimming. A unique feature of Las Canteras is 'La Barra', a natural rocky formation that protects part of the beach, creating a natural pool at low tide.
The promenade is ideal for exploring shops, cafes, ice cream parlours and restaurants, with options to suit all tastes. At the beginning of the promenade are the terraces of La Puntilla, famous for their fresh fish restaurants.
